“Making art – that’s the next… I want to get to the point where I can call myself an artist and not feel like a fraud.” —Kenny Schachter

Between Joel Mesler’s serial memoir in ArtNews, True Confessions of a Justified Art Dealer, and Kenny Schachter’s serial over-sharing, most recently on artnet News, the two are seemingly cut from the same delightful cloth. In recent years the two itinerant dealers, who are both also aspiring artists, have been putting on exhibitions that reflect their chemistry and ambitions, most recently Family Vacation at the highly enjoyable Felix Los Angeles art fair during the inaugural Frieze Los Angeles. For the exhibition, Cultural Counsel released this trailer, directed by Alexander Koht.
