A highlight of the 2018 Art Basel Unlimited program – and a testament to the ambition possible through the Unlimited program – was the installation of Michael Rakowitz’s ongoing project, The Invisible Enemy Should Not Exist, an ongoing project recreating stolen or destroyed artifacts from Iraq. In this video, Rakowitz talks about the inspiration for the series and walks us through the installation.
