On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, the New York–based digital content agency Bower Blue hosted a discussion about the power of video content in the art world. Held at the New York location of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, the breakfast roundtable included panelists Sofie Andersen, Director of Digital Media at the Whitney Museum of American Art; Marina Garcia-Vasquez, Executive Managing Editor of Vice.com; and Rachel Wolff, co-founder and Creative Director of SandenWolff Productions — three women at the intersection of institutions, platforms, and video creators. (Cornell DeWitt, Publisher and co-founder of Daily Plinth, moderated the discussion.)
Here’s a taste of the enlightening conversation, and here is the conversation in its entirety, which Bower Blue filmed. It’s a video about video, after all.
