Happy Birthday to Andy Warhol, born on August 6, 1928! Continuing our dive into some more obscure Warhol references, today we are sharing with you this fascinating interview with Danish filmmaker Jørgen Leth. Leth was the director of 66 Scenes from America (1982), which includes the iconic scene of Andy Warhol eating a hamburger. In this video from the always great Louisiana Channel, Leth describes how the scene came about, and waxes rhapsodic about how the scene encapsulates Warhol’s approach to art and life.
