In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel taught a class at New York’s New School for Social Research, called Inside New York’s Art World, where she interviewed a remarkable cast of characters. Thanks to the Diamonstein-Spielvogel Video Archive in the Duke University Libraries, we have access to these remarkable videos. Most are too long for this platform, but we’d encourage you to check them out on the link.

Here, Diamonstein-Spielvogel interviews Rosenquist and Castelli concerning Rosenquist’s life, career, and works. Castelli talks about being an art dealer.
