Sometimes we get pretty excited about an exhibition and like to share with you a tiny bit more in-depth (see Warhol Mania). One such show is the current Space Shifters exhibition at the Hayward Gallery in London. One of our favorites of the many brilliant, less-well-known artists the show has featured is Helen Pashgian, one of the very few women associated with the Light and Space movement in California in the 1960s and 70s (Maria Nordman and Mary Corse come to mind). In this video, the Getty Conservation Institute chats with Pashgian and takes a look at the materials and processes she uses to create her transcendent works.
