“I’m interested in this idea of how something is burned or seared into your memory. We have all this information – how does something stay? How does something stick with you?” —Sarah Sze
Sarah Sze’s newest gallery exhibition, featuring two new installations, Afterimage and Images in Debris, is on view now at Victoria Miro in London until July 28, 2018. In this video Sze talks about how she developed this latest body of work, as well as the process for transferring that vision into the gallery space. Sze represented the United States at the Venice Biennale in 2013, and was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 2003.
