There is certainly no small amount of Andy Warhol mania going around since the opening of the Whitney’s blockbuster Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again. Printmaking, in particular, appealed to Warhol as it allowed him to repeat a basic image and create endless variations of it by using different colors or other manipulations. As such, Warhol is a perennial favorite of the ‘But I could do that!’ crowd, with the response, of course, still always being ‘Yeah, but you didn’t.’ [With props to Craig Damrauer.] But could you print like Warhol?
