“I think that kind of precarity, that kind of real fragility, that I think everyone understands just innately if you live here, is something that makes this place really different.” —Felice Grodin
After its launch in December of 2017 (through January 1, 2019), at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Felice Grodin: Invasive Species is a virtually interactive, digital exhibition of commissioned works by Miami-based artist Felice Grodin. With the support of a grant from the Knight Foundation, and taking place in augmented reality in, around, and beyond the PAMM, Grodin analyzes the relationship between physical and mental territories, exploring the mutable within landscape, architecture, and our urban surroundings. In this video, PAMM visited Grodin in her studio as she spoke about how the work developed from her drawings, and the process of developing the work in AR. Also on view at the PAMM are exhibitions by Christo & Jean Claude, and Liliana Porter, among others. Grodin is also featured at Untitled art fair.
