UGO RONDINONE: GOOD EVENING BEAUTIFUL BLUE runs OCT 29, 2017 – FEB 19, 2018 at The Bass

Miami Mountain, the large-scale earthwork by New York-based artist Ugo Rondinone, was installed in Collins Park over the course of 14 hours. The installation team was comprised of five parties, including the team of fabricators who sourced and sculptured the boulders to the artist’s specifications in the Nevada desert. This video reveals some of the technical details that are hidden beneath the surface of the work.
