Travis Somerville was an artist in residence at the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans in the spring of 2018. In this video, Somerville talks about his process, and the works he created during his time in New Orleans, in response to the controversy surrounding the removal of Confederate monuments in New Orleans and across the south.
