One of the most extraordinary – and controversial – collaborations from the Prospect.4 triennial in New Orleans in February was the Katastwóf Karavan steam-powered calliope. The extraordinary work was a collaboration between MacArthur award-winning artist Kara Walker and art-world-collaborating (Adrian Piper, Joan Jonas), fellow MacArthur award-winning musician Jason Moran.
